CD Condition Guide

Every CD is inspected as carefully as possible before it is offered for sale. The media and sleeve are graded separately so that you know what to expect.

Media condition

Mint (M)

The disc is in perfect or virtually perfect condition, with no visible signs of use.

Near Mint (NM or M-)

The disc shows little or no visible wear and should play perfectly.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

The disc may show light handling marks or very fine scratches, but these should not significantly affect playback.

Very Good (VG)

The disc has more noticeable signs of use and may have light surface noise or occasional minor playback imperfections. Any important issue will be stated in the product description.

Sleeve and booklet condition

The sleeve grade describes the condition of the jewel case, digipak, booklet and inserts. Standard replaceable jewel cases may show normal storage wear. Cracks, missing parts, writing, stains or significant damage will be described whenever known.
